Coach Todd Rowley!!!

I could go on forever with the kids as that is the real reason I coach football. I love the kids and I love all their different personalities. Despite hot and cold weather, frustrating losses, parents that don't always agree with everything we do as coaches, the kids are what make it something I enjoy. It is great to see these guys get better at the game of football, but more than that, it is just great to see them become better and stronger people for life outside of football.

Coach Scott Bequette!!!

These boys have been great to work with. It has been a hard year for all of us.We as coaches are doing the best we can do.We as coaches know there are things we can do better as well as the boys. Sometimes we see so much talent, great attitude and ability from these boys, we forget they are young men in their journey through life, going through trials, school, and many other things as well. I never want a boy to regret being on a team and hope these boys know how much we care about them and want them to succeed in every aspect of life. I feel many of the things we work on in football will help them in life trials, which we know are not always easy.We appreciate all the time and effort from the parents and boys. I hope to see all of you next year. Keep working on your athletic abilities all year long, which will help you in every aspect of life. Thanks for your support.

From Head Coach Dan Thompson!!!

I think that these boys are some of the nicest kids I have ever coached. They are respectful and very well behaved and have big hearts, that can be a huge plus and minus on the football field because it takes fire, passion and meanness at times to be successful. We started the season with a lot of new faces (first year players) and kids going from a backup role to a starting position, which is a huge challenge. Some of the kids have struggled with the intensity and consistency required at this level of competition. I feel all the boys have the ability to compete and be very successful. With all that being said, I think the world of these boys and I hope that through the ups and downs of the season (similar to life) these young men have learned to deal with situations and push through for overall life success. I feel that each of these young men have great qualities and gifts and should continue to work hard for their dreams both on and off the football field. I hope to see them all out at tryouts next year with a renewed excitement to play this game!!!!!!
I would also like to thank all the parents for their help and support this season, with special mention to all those that assisted with practice and our special events.

Thanks
Coach Dan (go team, go!!!)

KADIN NOKES!!!

Coach Todd Rowley: Just a pure athlete. New to football, but picked up the line position very quickly and understands his role as a lineman. He works hard and has some natural gifts to be athletic. Very respectful to coaches and a pleasure to coach. Always does what he is asked to do and does it well.
Coach Scott Bequette: Has good speed and raw talent. He's a good listener and works hard to do his job. I'm excited to have him next year.

LEGRAND TOIA!!!

Coach Todd Rowley: Hardest hitting kid I have seen. Loves the game and understands the whole field. When you have been hit by Legrand, you won't forget it. Also has that extra understanding of football that helps him understand the whole field. Football smarts.
Coach Scott Bequette: Is a quick thinker which makes him a weapon on the field, because of his speed and the power in which he hits. I'm glad I'm not the one being tackled or blocked by him. I hope that you'll be with us next year to put the pain on the other teams.

TREVOR WELBURN!!!

Coach Todd Rowley: While new to the A-team, Trevor has worked very hard and improved his game a great deal. He has a great "fired up" personality and often fires the other guys up in cheers, etc... A great leadership quality exists. Hard work and dedication will make him successful in the future.
Coach Scott Bequette: Has a great attitude and desire to be the best that he can be. Always keeping the team fired up to do better. As a lineman, it's hard to go up against guys twice your size. He became one of our best cut blockers, and sure enough when a big guy needed to be taken down, he did the job.

TAYLOR THOMPSON!!!

Coach Todd Rowley: Mr. positive attitude. When we are down, you count on Taylor to fire everyone up. He can yell louder than the whole team combined. He has been flexible in his position helping us at guard, center or tackle wherever needed. He always wants to pull and hit someone, so I love his attitude. Many times he asks for plays that require him to do something extra and I love the idea that he wants to take those plays on. Another guy that if you could bottle "fire" he is your source.
Coach Scott Bequette: I don't know what we would have done without his loud and great attitude. No matter how much pressure was being put on him, he would not quit. Always wanting to cross block to get the advantage on the other team, and on defensive punching through the line and making good hard tackles, making the other team think twice before running through that side of the line.

AUSTIN PANGAN!!!

Coach Todd Rowley: Best punter I have worked with. This guy has a great leg for kicking and a great personality. You can't help but like Austin as he is a great kid to coach and to just joke around with. A real pleasure on the team!
Coach Scott Bequette: Wanting to have fun and keep the team up. He was always by my side wanting to do whatever the team needed to excel. He did a great job punting. I hate to say it but we needed him more than we would have liked to have used him, he did really well with all that pressure. It was great to have him on the team.

RILEY INGRAM!!!

Coach Todd Rowley: Riley has been with us a few years and when working hard to his potential, is a great lineman. He is fun to talk with and I really enjoy talking to him about his other love, playing baseball. If he sets his mind to something he will get it done and done well.
Coach Scott Bequette: Is a great lineman and center for the team. Every team needs good linemen to play well. It is hard to play center because at the snap of the ball he has less than a second before the pressure comes. He got the job done.

"VINNY" MAUMAU!!!

Coach Todd Rowley: Vinny has the best hands on the team. This guy can catch a pass the way it is supposed to be caught. He improved his game by becoming a great defensive corner and has worked very hard all season. We were glad to get him back from the smurfs (Bingham) after leaving us for a year.
Coach Scott Bequette: Has a lot of natural ability, he is fast and has great hands for receiving and intercepting the ball. He's got a good attitude when things are tough. I wish we would have had more chances to use him in the games but we didn't have the offensive play time that we are used to having. He is a great asset to the team.

JAKE TIMM!!!

Coach Todd Rowley: Jake is a force when pushing you out of the way. He is strong as an ox, yet
has a movie star smile. I think his smile and good nature are what I like most about Jake. With
a broken leg a few years back and some bumps and bruises over the last few seasons, he has proved tough by returning again and again after many would have quit.
Coach Scott Bequette: Jake is a Bull and hard to get through. Linemen do not get a lot of credit and glory most of the time. It takes a special breed to be at the front line in full attack having to give 100% every play. Jake is that man, never quitting even in pain. I am proud to have him on the team.

ETHAN CUTLER!!!

Coach Todd Rowley: Faster than lightning. Probably the fastest X-man I have ever seen. He brings a bull rush that is pretty impressive. He has worked harder than most coming from being pretty new at football last year to a premier football player this year. Living proof of desire and work ethic.
Coach Scott Bequette: Is one of the most disciplined players I know, never quitting and putting his best effort forward every time. I have never seen a lineman with his speed, and he sure knows how to use it when blocking and getting in the backfield to make those great tackles. I am privileged to be his coach.

ANDREW RICE!!!

Coach Todd Rowley: This guy is stronger than a bulldozer. Had he not broken his ankle the first week of the season, he would be a force at this point. He showed incredible heart by staying with the team the entire season, despite not being able to play most games. Most in his situation would have left the team back in August. He is working hard these last few weeks that he has been able to play to gear up for next year. With a full season of training, his size and bit of an attitude will make him a force to reckon with.
Coach Scott Bequette: Most guys would quit with an injury like he had. It says a lot about a person who will come back in the middle of the season and give that great effort. He truly is a tank and hard to get through. I wish we would have had him the whole season. There were a lot of teams with guys his size and he would have been the force to stop them. I'm excited to have you next year.

ALEX STAIR!!!

Coach Todd Rowley: A pleasant surprise at our tryout this year. He brings a big strong presence to the line with some good speed to get out and hit linebackers when needed. Being new to the sport, he did a great job and will only improve as he works hard and gets a better understanding of the whole field. A great guy to have on the team.
Coach Scott Bequette: For his first year playing with us, he has done well. He hits hard and blocks well with his speed. He is a hard worker and determined to do the best at his job. He doesn't like to lose which makes him a great player. I think next year the other teams won't want him against them.
